On this week’s radio show we’re going Into The Heart of Life with Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo. Raised in London, she became one of the first Westerners to be ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun. She was in spiritual community in India for six years and then, seeking more seclusion, she found a nearby cave where she remained for another 12 years, the last 3 years in strict retreat. The popular book Cave In The Snow, which chronicles her journey, has been an inspiration to many practitioners around the world.
I’ll also play an encore segment of an interview I did with Rabbi Michael Learner regarding The Left Hand of God.
The conversations begin Sunday at Noon EST on 88.7fm WICR and wicronline.org. It will be available Monday on www.richardbrendan.org and www.walkthetalkseries.com
